2022

I had a few notable artistic themes in 2022. Continuing my trend from the end of 2021, I drew a lot of mothmen and mystical weevils, plus a lot of Trungo. I did a lot of art for other people, either as commissions or gifts, and I participated quite heavily in Art Fight this year, particularly targeting other artists' bug-based characters. In fact most of my favorite pieces from this year were for others. This was a hard year for me personally, on account of moving away from my partner and to a new state for my job and living in a dingy and depressing basement apartment, but I ended up funneling a lot of the angst from that into art, so it was also a productive year.
